Terms and Conditions for Car Rental Service

Hermin Rent a Car Contract

1. The client must have a valid driver's license for the rented vehicle category for the entire rental period, with a minimum of 2 years' experience. The minimum age is 21 years.
2. The client assumes full responsibility for any accident caused while driving under the influence of alcohol or intoxicated, agreeing to pay for the damages assessed by the insurance company.
3. In case of an accident, the client must immediately report it to the police and Hermin Rent-a-car agent and allow the necessary investigations.
4. In case of a road accident or theft of the car or from the car, the client must obtain the following documents from the authorities: an accident or theft report, and repair authorization, as applicable.
5. The client assumes full responsibility for any violation of current traffic regulations. The client is also obliged to pay all fines received during the rental period.
6. In case of an accident or damage caused by the client's fault, a charge of 20 euros/day will be applied for the car's downtime during repairs.
7. The renter is required to pay a deposit ranging from 50 Euros to 400 Euros depending on the rental period and car. This will be returned upon the car's return unless damages have occurred.
8. The client is prohibited from:

• a. Participating in car races or performance tests;
• b. Transporting prohibited materials or goods without the necessary documents;
• c. Using the rental car under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or substances that may impair reaction speed or awareness;
• d. Towing other vehicles or trailers without written consent from a Hermin representative;
• e. Leaving the car with open windows and/or keys in the ignition unsupervised; the alarm system must be activated whenever the car is left unattended;
• f. Performing any repairs on the car; repairs can only be carried out at an authorized service center designated by the owner;
• g. Selling, renting, or guaranteeing the car, which is the subject of this contract.

9. This contract may be extended by mutual agreement, with an addendum or a new contract. The minimum rental period is 24 hours.
10. The car will be delivered and returned to the location indicated by the client or owner. The car can be returned to any other city for an additional fee starting from 0.5 Euros/km.
11. The car will be rented in good condition, without defects, and must be returned in the same condition. Any delay in returning the rented car must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. The first hour of delay is free, after which a full day's rental will be charged.
12. Upon car return, a check-out/check-in form will be completed, specifying the car's condition, fuel level, and accessories provided to the client, and will be completed again upon car return.
